OCD and Anxiety Center of Minnesota is a mental health clinic in the Twin Cities that specializes in treating obsessive compulsive disorder using evidence based methods. Our mission is to decrease the amount of time it takes to be diagnosed with OCD and receive effective treatment, expand treatment accessibility, and spread awareness about what it means to have OCD.

We are looking for films to help fulfill this mission, as well as:
- Help others understand the depth of OCD
- Fight OCD stereotypes
- Challenge mental health stigma
- Raise awareness on the more taboo forms of OCD

***We realize this is short notice to submit films so we greatly appreciate any and all entries!

All films submitted must highlight OCD. All films must depict OCD in a respectful and empathetic way, and not simply use OCD as an adjective or quirk. We are especially interested in challenging OCD stereotypes, showing different perspectives on the disorder, and enlightening and educating the general public on the true meaning of OCD.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are uncertain of the final status of the presentation of OCD Short Film Festival. We plan to live stream the event regardless during OCD Awareness Week, October 10th - October 16th, the exact day TBD.

We accept all forms of film including narratives, documentaries, animations, music videos, and public service announcements.
- Length of Film: 15 minutes maximum. We encourage the submission of shorter works so that we can showcase more filmmakers.
- Each film must be submitted with a FilmFreeway submission info form. Filmmakers will also be asked to submit a film via Vimeo.
- We will be accepting films until October 4, 2021. All qualified films will be viewed by a panel of judges.
- Winners agree to participate in the OCD Short Film Festival.
