Norway is a country of action, adventure, enchanting nature & wonderful people who love films. Norway Action Film Festival, in short NAFF, packs them all in one exciting film festival!

NAFF is created and organized by a bunch of action-&-adventure-crazy filmmakers and producers in Norway and beyond who are looking for spectacular film works from fellow filmmakers in the action and adventure genre. Our festival is open to all categories: fiction feature-length, short, documentary, TV series, and animation for all ages. If you can imagine and show it, NAFF can screen it.

The annual event is held in Baeurum, a historical municipal in the greater Oslo region in Norway. It is a significant part of the Viken county. Yes, that’s right! This is a VIKING cradle indeed! The world-renowned annual Sandvika festival is held in this municipality. It is also a favourite place for role-playing events. A historical museum Bærums Verk is located here.

Our objective in creating this event is to share, communicate, develop & support fellow filmmakers & film enthusiasts in the action & adventure genre in Norway & beyond through an inspiring, artistic, inclusive & viable film festival.

We love martial art films, fantasy, futuristic, sci-fi, nature & wildlife, animation, super heroes, travel, thriller, war, sport, dance, documentary, fiction or non-fiction, short, feature-length, animation & hybrid. Practically, any film genre & style that you can think of that has action and adventure in it. We want to see artistic, unique & engaging storytelling & spectacular cinematography, we'd love to screen it at our festival! Come share your film with us & join the fun!
