Eno River Media will host the fifth annual North Carolina Film Festival at the New Bern Civic Theater in New Bern, NC, on July 29, 2023.

The North Carolina Film Festival is an in-person event. Tickets will be available one month before the festival begins.

Rules & Terms

The North Carolina Film Festival is an international festival that celebrates diversity and inclusion and will not feature nudity or hate images. We accept all film genres, including but not limited to comedy, drama, horror, thriller, experimental, documentary, animation, and music videos. We accept films up to 180 minutes in length.

    It was an honor to have my short ANNAVESPA selected at North Carolina Film Festival. I live in Italy, so it was impossible to be there, but my family lives in New Bern and could be at the live screnning! And after that, the festival direction interviewed me in streaming with my niece doing the translation! I was really trilled! It's a great festival! Thanks to Justin Yates and to all the NCFF staff for this wonderful opportunity.

    Great film festival! I was real excited to have my short, Small World screen here. I really enjoyed the venue and its located in an interesting city. Hope to go back next year, it was a lot of fun!

    The communication and hospitality of this festival is amazing. I appreciate that they called to congratulate me on the official selection instead of sending out a prewritten email that everyone receives. They also organized a live zoom interview with over 20 minutes of Q&A. I wish we could have been at the screening in person but they found a way to celebrate the work of all the filmmakers involved.
