Noori Screendance Festival is an annual festival based in Salt Lake City that celebrates independent films that center dance and movement.

In 2026, Noori will take place in-person at the Sorenson Unity Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, February 27 at 7:00pm and Saturday, February 28 at 2:00pm. A Q&A with the filmmakers and collaborators will follow both screenings. In 2026, Noori will also present a screening at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah over the same weekend.

Noori presents short dance films that are 12 minutes or less. Presented films will be offered a $150 honorarium. Please note that honorariums can *ONLY* be distributed via Venmo. If you have questions, please contact rae@lovedancemore.org.

Noori Screendance Festival is made possible through the fiscal support of loveDANCEmore, a Salt Lake City nonprofit dedicated to supporting independent dance.

Noori Screendance Festival presents independent dance films.

- Films must be 12 minutes or less in length.
- Artists are asked to attend and participate in at least one Q&A, if possible.
- If your film features speaking, subtitles must be provided.
- Based on restrictions from grant funding, the 2026 festival can only pay artists based in the United States.
- Honorariums can *ONLY* be distributed via Venmo. If you have questions about this, please contact rae@lovedancemore.org.
- If you have a work in progress to submit, please include a plan to finish this film in your cover letter. Final films will be due by February 20, 2026.
- The 2026 Noori Screendance Festival will be presented at the Sorenson Unity Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 27th and February 28th and at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah on the same weekend.
- By submitting your movie, you authorize Noori Screendance Festival to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and film/video stills via social media and for publicity/promotional uses.
