No Coast Film Fest is committed to promoting the short film genre by bringing together established and first-time filmmakers from Kansas and all over the world in a forum to celebrate the short film genre.

Running at the historic Granada Theatre in Emporia, Kansas, we screen both Award-winning short films from the international film festival circuit and new discoveries alike.

We enable filmmakers to meet their audience, and for dialogue to happen. We support and provide a platform for filmmakers who might not otherwise have an opportunity to show their films in Kansas. We help them build new audiences and expose their work to both young people exploring the world through film for the first time and to veteran movie lovers.

  • We were so happy to premiere our short film THE UNIFORM at No Coast in August. Great people, excellent films and lots of fun the whole weekend long... Rosalie, Johnny and Josh really go out of their way to create a warm, welcoming and un-pretentious environment and it gives this smaller festival a really big heart. Couldn't have been happier. And we were lucky enough to go home with the 2023 Kraken Award. Definitely worth the trip and we hope to be back with the next film!
