No Coast Film Fest is committed to promoting the short film genre by bringing together established and first-time filmmakers from Kansas and all over the world in a forum to celebrate the short film genre.

Running at the historic Granada Theatre in Emporia, Kansas, we screen both Award-winning short films from the international film festival circuit and new discoveries alike.

We enable filmmakers to meet their audience, and for dialogue to happen. We support and provide a platform for filmmakers who might not otherwise have an opportunity to show their films in Kansas. We help them build new audiences and expose their work to both young people exploring the world through film for the first time and to veteran movie lovers.

No Coast Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any submitted film that is accepted for exhibition at No Coast Film Festival for promotional purposes.

The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

The individual or corporation submitting the film shall indemnify and hold harmless No Coast Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

This agreement shall be governed by Kansas law. Should any court determine and declare that any portion of this agreement is void, voidable, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions and portions shall remain in full force and effect.

Any dispute, controversy, interpretation, or claim of any kind arising out of, from, or related to this agreement, or the events and services provided in relation to this agreement shall be submitted to mediation prior to filing suit.

Should your film be accepted, we ask permission to keep a copy of the film for our festival library. This request is voluntary and is not conditional. The copy of the film in the NCFF library will not be used for profit. Should we consider re-screening the film for a public paid event, we will notify individuals or corporations representing the film for permission and conditions.

No Coast Film Fest was an absolute blast! The films screened were some of the best shorts I've seen at any festival, and the opportunity to network and meet other fellow filmmakers was truly incredible. We met so many amazing people and hopefully have made not only future collaborators, but also friends.

The same goes for the the No Coast Film Fest team!! Everyone working the fest was so nice and accommodating and made us feel like one of the NCFF family as soon as we arrived. We can't speak highly enough about our experience at NCFF, and we can't wait to go back! I hope anyone reading this hops on the opportunity to submit their film or even just attend the NCFF. You will not regret it!!!

p.s. The venue is amazing!!! It was so cool to see our film on the big screen at the Emporia Granada Theatre!!

I can't recommend NCFF enough. The uniqueness of the venue, the hospitality of the staff, and the entertaining program they put on made our experience really enjoyable. I plan on submitting all my future films to the festival. I'm looking forward to seeing how much it improves next year!
