Our crew and cast were so delighted to be an official entry for this festival. We enjoyed the experience of our screening night, especially the Q&A, where we also got to mingle with fellow filmmakers. Sophia and Nicole were great hosts ! Even though our short documentary "Maestros & Music Makers" didn't win, we were happy to be part of the show. My only reservation was communications were sometimes not returned in a timely manner, but that was a minor blip in an otherwise positive experience.

It was an privilege to premiere Burning Virtue at NYSFF and also take home the Jury Award for Best Film. It was a lovely event with so many great films in my block on the closing night. Congrats to all the other winners and selectees and thanks for all the kind words.

  • I really enjoyed seeing my film on the screen at Cinema Village. It was fun watching other filmmaker's projects as well. Really quality work all around. Professionally run festival. I wish I could have participated in their networking offerings, but I am glad they have so much programmed so you can really learn and meet new people. Oh, and it was truly an honor to be voted Best Sci-Fi Short!
