NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL intends to discover contemporary Eurasian cinema, to restore and to create a new cinematic culture in response to the rapid changes in media seen in the 21st century.

We are pleased to bring the Eurasian Film Festival to the heart of the world, New York City - the greatest cultural crossroad of the 21st Century. Our emphasis is on the stunning artistic achievements taking place at the crossroads of Eurasia, where the culture and art of Europe, Asia and Central Asia and the Balkan Republics, are informing and cross-fertilizing one another. It is a story that needs to be told, and the presence in New York of vibrant immigrant communities from all these countries makes New York the ideal venue for this important event.

6th NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL
is the largest showcase of short, feature films and documentaries in New York from Eurasian continent. With over 50 films from more than 20 countries will be screened in Summer 2022.

HISTORY:

NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL was founded in 2010 by New York-Independent filmmakers, highlights a selection of the Festival's programs that strongly reflect, revive, newly interpret or celebrate important cultural heritage.

COMPETITION & AWARDS

NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL is a competitive Film Festival.
Films accepted are automatically eligible for the applicable competition category. Jury members will determine the winners of the awards during the Festival and the awards will be presented at the Closing Ceremony. Filmmakers not present will be notified in writing.

We also partnered this year with "USA Independent Film Festival" where we welcome to screen the U.S.A films and the other countries productions which is not on our list in a special section during the festival by extending our days.

Films to be officially screened in NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL will be selected by the Festival Programmers. We expand the number of our venues this year and reaching out more communities in NYC.
International jury members will determine the
Winners of the awards during the Festival and the awards will be presented at the Closing Ceremony.

GENERAL RULES & Submission Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, all films must meet the following requirements:

*Short Films must be no more than 40 minutes in length including credits.. Feature films must be no less than 59 minutes in length including credits.

*All non-English language films must have legible English language subtitles.

*Films accepted into the festival must arrive with shipping and customs duties or taxes pre-paid, two weeks prior to the Festival opening.

*All entries must be postmarked no later than the deadline dates & clear with a paid entry fee following the deadline.

*Entries must be submitted EITHER Sending DIGITALLY (Preferably Vimeo link with a private password or sending us the link to download your film)
OR
on DVD with label indicating the title, and aspect ratio and running time.
***WE HIGHLY PREFER AND RECOMMEND YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR FILM PAPERLESS & ONLINE & SEND US THE LINK WITH THE PASSWORD which is going to save time and money for you.

*Fees are payable to New York Eurasian Film Festival by U.S Check & International Check.

*All films must have been completed after January 2013. . Only completed projects will be accepted. Filmmaker or distributor must have obtained all clearances for exhibition and must certify that the work is original and no disputes regarding ownership exist on the film.
*DVD preview Screeners will not be returned.

*The country of the production could be U.S but either producer or director should be by Eurasian descent.

* If you prefer to mail the DVD of your film, you must submit online first and we will provide you the Entry number which will be your reference # of your film and then you can mail us the-DVD with label indicating the title, director's name, aspect ratio and running time and the entry number which you will be provided.

* After your film is officially selected you will be receiving an email by our programmers to provide us the digital stills of your film & director's info and full production credits.
