All awards are conferred by the NYCIFFF Jury Panel.

The Social Media and People’s Choice Award is determined by public voting via NYCIFFF’s official Instagram and Facebook platforms.

NYCIFFF reserves the right to amend award categories at its discretion.

Rules & Terms

ELIGIBILITY, SUBMISSIONS & TERMS:

✔ NYCIFFF is an international cultural platform. Creators of all nationalities are invited to submit.
✔ All submissions must be fashion-centered in concept, narrative, or visual focus.
✔ All music, archival footage, and copyrighted materials must be properly licensed and cleared for exhibition.
✔ All non-English language films must include English subtitles.
✔ Eligible projects must have been completed between January 1, 2020 and the present.
✔ Submissions must not contain pornographic material.
✔ NYCIFFF does not accept rough cuts, unfinished works, or works-in-progress. All submissions must be fully completed projects.
Priority consideration is given to projects that have not previously premiered in New York City prior to NYCIFFF.

By submitting, entrants confirm that they are legally eligible to participate and agree to all festival rules and conditions.

SUBMISSION MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Submitters must provide:
✔ A downloadable screening link
✔ Film poster (maximum of 3)
✔ Production stills (maximum of 3)
✔ Director’s biography, filmography, and headshot
✔ Film trailer or promotional clip

LEGAL AGREEMENTS:
By submitting a project to NYCIFFF, the submitter grants NYCIFFF a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, publicly display, transmit, and promote submitted materials in all current and future media formats for festival, promotional, and archival purposes.
By submitting, the entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NYCIFFF, its directors, partners, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from issues related to copyright, trademark, publicity rights, screening rights, credits, or submitted materials.
All selection decisions are made at the sole and absolute discretion of NYCIFFF and are final.
All submission fees are non-refundable.

    I’m thrilled to share that I was selected for this festival and am over the moon to have won Best Student Fashion Designer! Although I couldn’t attend in person, the wonderful Pedro kindly brought my award back to Europe for me. I’m hopeful for another opportunity to participate in NYCIFFF and am determined to make the trip to the USA next time!
