The 6th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival returns to Las Vegas March 19-22, 2020, in honor of Women's History Month.

NWFFest is an annual event to celebrate and support the fair representation of women in film. We invite submissions from all genres, shorts and features, fiction, documentary and animation.

We are the only festival in the state of Nevada to showcase women directors and women in key creative positions. We also seek stories with strong and complex female characters or which otherwise depict women in a positive light.

We support a diversity of worldview, background, and experience. Filmmakers of all genders from all over the world are encouraged to submit to the festival.

This a frustrating situation we are all in for 2020 but I can say for certain that the communication and hospitality with this film festival was exceptional. I am forever grateful that my film was chosen. The virtual experience was positive and fun. I hope I can actually attend this festival someday.

  • It seems strange to write this review of the NWFF in a year where everything, including the festival itself, has been postponed indefinitely. But I already have a great deal of good to say about it. Nikki and Kelsie have been communicative, helpful and kind. It is clear the festival will be a great one when it happens, and I'll be proud to be a part of it.
