The 12th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival returns to fabulous Las Vegas March 19-22, 2026!

NWFFest is an annual event to celebrate and support the fair representation of women in film, and provide a platform for historically marginalized voices. We invite submissions from all genres, shorts and features, fiction, documentary and animation.

We are the only festival in the state of Nevada to showcase women directors and women in key creative positions. We also seek stories with strong and complex female characters or subjects.

We support a diversity of worldview, background, and experience. Filmmakers of all genders from all over the world are encouraged to submit to the festival.

Our fest features esteemed honorees, panels, discussions, parties and more. NWFFest is a project of Women in Film (WIF) Nevada.

  • Nevada Women’s Film Fest was so much fun and very well run! Our short musical comedy "Catalogue of Noses" got a lotta love, particularly from program director Nikki! Plus, we were honoured to be nominated for an award in a very tough category.

Nevada Women's Film Festival had really exceptional organization and communication. I wish I could have attended in person and I greatly appreciate that they made panels available remotely. I'm grateful that my horror short, Rash got to be apart of the 2026 programming.

I really recommend this festival and it's on my short list to go in person in the future whether I have a film screening or not. The team really cares about filmmakers and provides a ton of value and great informational panels.
