The 8th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival returns to fabulous Las Vegas in June, 2022.

NWFFest is an annual event to celebrate and support the fair representation of women in film. We invite submissions from all genres, shorts and features, fiction, documentary and animation.

We are the only festival in the state of Nevada to showcase women directors and women in key creative positions. We also seek stories with strong and complex female characters or which otherwise depict women in a positive light.

We support a diversity of worldview, background, and experience. Filmmakers of all genders from all over the world are encouraged to submit to the festival.

  • Many thanks to Nikki –°orda for appreciating our film! We took part in the Nevada Women's Film Festival for the first time and did not expect that Mother of the Apostles will receive the highest rating - Best Film! Unfortunately, we could not fly to you across the ocean, but we were always surrounded by your care and attention. You are a fantastic team! We wish you every success!

Nikki Corda and all the team were really fantastic. We were so privileged to have our student film accepted, and win an award! We'll definitely be submitting again next year, particularly as we are so proud of our student women directors, and this is the perfect forum for their films.

  • We was excited about our trip to Vegas and glad that they chose our film The Shooting Star, the 30 minute version to be a part of their festival. Their team had done a great job in preparing for this festival. I know we was excited about it, but the sad thing about it I ended up sick and couldn't even do the interview. So I am looking forward to next year festival and presenting the 60 minute film of The Shooting Star. So I encourage all you film makers out there if you want to get a taste of Hollywood submit your film to this festival. And you can experience this great excitement as I and others have.
