Formerly the Skylark Film Festival, NUFF builds on six years of festival excellence while expanding into a larger platform for film, culture, technology and creative exchange.

From beachfront screenings beneath Caribbean sunsets to industry conversations, masterclasses, filmmaker networking events and Jamaica’s first Audio Visual & Film Technology Expo, NUFF offers an experience unlike any other festival in the region.

Rules & Terms

The Negril Universal Film Festival (NUFF) welcomes submissions from filmmakers worldwide.

* Films of any completion year may be submitted.
* All genres are welcome unless otherwise noted in a category description.
* Non-English language films must include English subtitles.
* Entrants must hold the rights necessary to submit and exhibit their work.
* Selected films may be screened during NUFF 2026 and may be featured in festival marketing through the use of trailers, stills, and excerpts.
* Submission does not guarantee selection.
* All festival programming and selection decisions are final.
* Submission to NUFF 2026 is free of charge.
