The NY COMEDY SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL (NYCSFF) is a monthly screening series to celebrate and showcase emerging filmmakers who are committed to making audiences laugh by any means necessary. Please read the rules before submitting.

Our goal is to encourage individual and bold comedy and to have a fun party while showing a filmmaker's work on the big screen. We will conduct red carpet interviews that help garner media attention as well as online visibility, and our event will be attended by working comedians and other industry professionals. At the end of the screenings, there will be a Q&A, and the audience will vote for their favorite short. Then we'll party!

The NYCSFF is hosted by the Open Door Gastropub, only a stroll away from the South Street Seaport. It is produced by the award-winning sketch comedy team, Temple Horses, and AC Roe, the brains behind the already successful "Open Door Comedy Series," which has been thrice reviewed by the Village Voice. It will feature comedians from Comedy Central, HBO, and various late night television shows as well.

Audience Award for Best Short
- Copy of Final Draft 9 Valued at $249.99

All filmmakers that screen will receive a special gift basket courtesy of our sponsor, Ty Ku Sake valued at $100.

Additional sponsorship gifts TBD.
