NOIR FEST is the first of it’s kind digital festival featuring the finest aspirational ART from across the Black Diaspora. Through our integration of digital art and film curation alongside intuitive technological design, we are committed to transforming the way Blackness is viewed and understood globally using visually stunning, aspirational media centered on believable Black heroes.
Through our digital Portal and regular events, NOIR FEST is poised to become the most dynamic movement catalyzing a paradigm shift in Black representation in global media, as well as a leading distributor of the most visionary Black content. Our events take place online with live viewings, community dialogue, ratings, filmmaker Q&As and virtual parties.
We are currently accepting submissions of visual art, music, films and more that reimagine Black history and Black futurity, delivering a new imaginary through striking visuals, unforgettable characters, and inspiring stories. Submissions will be reviewed by a Selection Jury whose combined experience spans over three decades in Hollywood and international media.
Final selections will be exhibited / screened on our virtual platform, Portal X, and (when live events are possible) at our live pop-up events all over the world. Finalists will also receive awards and will be supported in wielding additional resources for continued work and for distributing their films widely. We accept both contemporary and classic visionary Black films.

Best Film - Collective Visualization Prize - (Plaque, $1000 & Sponsored gift package)
As all selected films will feature stunning visuals, superior acting and aspirational characters, the biggest NOIR FEST prize is awarded to the contemporary film which provides the audience with the story most desirable to see manifest in reality. Viewers will rate each project according to the desirability of it's content, were the story to take place in reality. Jury will make final selection in case of ties.
Finest Art - Visionary Asset Prize - (Plaque, $500 & Sponsored gift package) This award goes to the most striking and most impactful visual art as rated by community members.
Special Jury Honor - Legendary Classic (Plaque & Sponsored gift package)
This award goes to the classic film rated highest by our audience.
