The NIEVES INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2025 will take place February 21 - 23. In this three-day event we will screenings online the Nominated Films & the awards ceremony. People Choice, where you have the opportunity to vote for your favorite film. (Vote online in our website)
 
On Sunday, February 23rd an award ceremony will be held with trophies and certificates presented to the winners.

Awards & Prizes

The NICFF has three levels of awards, 1st Place certificates. Special trophies for outstanding productions (**An actual award can be created and sent to those who win 1st Place or for those who are not able to attend for the following cost without shipping. Trophy award $66.00. **)

The NICFF 2025 AWARD CEREMONY will be filmed and award winners will receive a special premiere screening of their winning film during the regular screening schedule in our website.

Rules & Terms

Shorts may be submitted from 2 minutes up to 44 minutes and features from 45 minutes to 2 hours. No porn, vulgarity, nudity or profanity will be accepted.

NOTE: WE REQUIRE ALL FILMS TO HAVE A TRAILER ON YOUTUBE. PLEASE SEND US THE LINK. THIS IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF YOUR SUBMISSION TO THE NICFF. PLEASE SEND IT TO US AT nievesfilms@gmail.com

Student Shorts or Features are films that present Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation, present Biblical references in the film and Family Oriented.

Inspirational Shorts and Features are either family oriented, children's films or inspiring films with a moral at its center.

All family oriented shorts, animations, features, documentaries, and music videos may be entered into Nieves International Christian Film Festival.

The filmmaker must own all rights to his film and music or have secured them by the festival.

We will accept films made between 2018 to 2025.

It is up to everyone submitting their project to the NICFF to respond to our emails in a timely manner. We work with you but it is your responsibility to keep on top of our notifications.

By submitting your film you give us the right to also screen it at our website as part of the awards presented and premiere screening.

Digital Awards and laurels will be presented to filmmakers that do not attend the festival. Filmmakers and screenplay writers who cannot attend will received a digital award certificate.

    Thank you, Nieves International Christian Film Festival, for accepting our submission for Best Trailer and for awarding us the honor of 1st place. Praise the Lord! We received this thrilling news while filming our next production, literally while the cameras were rolling, and all our staff gathered in the center of the filming site to watch the ceremony online together. Every member was filled with joy and excitement.

    We also wanted to submit our film, but because our movie "The Mat" exceeds the time limit, we decided to take more time to trim it after our filming period is over at the end of March and present the trimmed version in the next season of the festival.

    We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to introduce and spread our film overseas. In a time where fewer people are embracing Christian values and many in today's generation distance themselves from God, the prevailing opposition to Jesus as the only way to salvation has left numerous young Christians grappling with doubt about their faith. We believe it is our calling to address the questions and conflicts that young Christians are facing, dispel any misconceptions or negative sentiments that non-Christians may hold, and foster deeper understanding and unity among individuals of diverse backgrounds through the Gospel. Recognizing the power of film to connect with people of all ages and walks of life, we have chosen this medium to make our message easily approachable and widely accessible.

    We are newcomers in the film industry with a burning passion and vision. Despite there being numerous film studios in Korea, the number of Christian film productions/films is few. Through the inspiration of our films, we hope and pray to be the spark that ignites a flame in the hearts of many to jump into this field of work for the glory of God and His kingdom!
