Filmmaker, We take care of your project! It will be a pleasure and a responsibility to receive your film
WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR FILM TO MIFF FESTIVAL YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE WITH THE TERMS, CONDITIONS & RULES BELOW
- Films must be submitted via an online screener ONLY.
- We do not accept films submitted on DVD.
- You are providing MIFF with a nonexclusive limited license to use segments of your film (including trailers/film posters/press kits/teasers) for promotional purposes.
-Submissions DO NOT guarantee selection.
-All international films MUST have English subtitles if in another language.
- Entrants confirm and warrant that they have the required legal authority to use all music, images, and content in the entry submitted,
- Works-in-progress and films with distribution are accepted,
- No restrictions on premiere or online statuses.
-Official Selections will be announced on the website, social media and partners.

We are mainly looking for: Feature films, Short Films, Documentaries, TV/Web-Series, Series Pilots, Student Films, Animations, Trailers, Music Videos, Produced and Unproduced Scripts, Commercials, Experimental Films, Professional Mobile Films and Disruptive formats as Portrait Orientation.
We accept films of any genre, length and language.
Any genre and any length of film will be considered – anything under 45 minutes is classified as a short, anything over 45 minutes is classified as a feature.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT 1. Amateur videos. 2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations. 3. Pornography. 4. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 1080p HD). 5. We don't accept excerpts/scenes from films: you must submit the entire film.
By submitting your film, take note that: The Mykonos Film Festival is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film submitted for promotional purposes. Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be submitted to multiple categories. Winning categories vary depending on the submissions we receive. If the administration thinks the categories submitted are not to a standard of the Mykonos Film Festival win, they will be removed. The Competition reserves the right to refuse entries and the Jury can remove a movie from the competition at any time. Entry fees are non-refundable.

The feedback option is to get notified if your project is worthy of being included in our Official Selection within 72 hours from the time we receive the full submission. Your submission status will be updated from Undecided to Selected if is worthy of being at MIFF competition.
Note: any DISCOUNT CODES ARE NOT VALID for the purchase of trophies at “FilmFreeway”. DISCOUNTS CODES ARE VALID, ONLY for submitting films at the festival. If there is a trophy purchased at “FilmFreeway” with a discount code, that purchase will be CANCELED.
- Remember that payments are not refundable.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for possible screening (private and/or public) and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Mykonos Film Festival, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss or damage of the screening videos entered.
