1) SOBRE LA INSCRIPCIÓN
a) La convocatoria está abierta para cortometrajes producidos por cineastas de cualquier parte del mundo, de larga o naciente trayectoria que hayan realizado su película con alguna temática relacionada a las selvas del mundo.
b) La inscripción a las 4 categorías de competencia internacional se realizará a través de la plataforma FilmFreeway. Las bases se podrán visualizar en nuestras redes sociales y en nuestra web: https://muyunafest.org/
c) La recepción de obras inicia el 7 de noviembre a las 00:00 hrs y termina el 31 de enero a las 23:59 hrs (Hora Perú)
d) La inscripción solo para películas peruanas en las 4 categorías de competencia es gratuita y se realiza a través del siguiente formulario: https://forms.gle/JyfMiTbqw8VGUGmr8
e) El precio de inscripción para público internacional y nacional de acuerdo a las fechas establecidas es gratuito.
f) La convocatoria está abierta para cineastas de cualquier parte del mundo, de larga o naciente trayectoria que hayan realizado su película con alguna temática relacionada a las selvas del mundo.
g) Cada participante posee la libertad de enviar la cantidad de obras que considere conveniente, sin embargo, de obtener una selección, sólo se admitirá una (01) obra por autor/a, como parte de la selección oficial en una (01) de las categorías de competencia.
2) SOBRE LAS OBRAS
a) La duración de la obra no podrá exceder los 20 minutos, incluyendo créditos.
b) Se aceptan piezas audiovisuales para los géneros documental, ficción, experimental y animación.
c) En caso la obra no se haya realizado en español, deberá incluir subtítulos incrustados en el idioma mencionado o aportar los subtítulos en inglés en formato SRT para su traducción por parte de la organización.
d) Las obras deberán ser originales, realizadas después del 1 de enero de 2022.
3) SOBRE LAS CATEGORÍAS
a) La convocatoria de competencia para MUYUNA FEST- Festival Internacional de Cine Selvático Flotante está abierta para las siguientes secciones:
i) Cortometraje Internacional de Ficción.
ii) Cortometraje Internacional Documental (No ficción).
iii) Cortometraje Internacional Experimental.
iv) Cortometraje Internacional de Animación.
b) Existirán proyecciones no competitivas en distintas locaciones de la ciudad de Iquitos.
4) SOBRE LA SELECCIÓN
a) El equipo de programación del festival, realizará en cada categoría una selección de las obras recibidas.
b) Posteriormente, la terna de jurados por categoría, conformada por tres profesionales vinculados al mundo audiovisual, evaluará las obras de acuerdo a su criterio. La decisión del jurado, es única e inapelable.
c) El jurado puede otorgar menciones honrosas o distinciones técnicas, de considerarlas necesarias.
d) La selección oficial será comunicada el 20 de abril de 2025 directamente a lxs ganadores de las distintas categorías.
e) El día central de proyección serán anunciados los ganadores de manera pública y a través de los distintos canales de difusión del festival.
f) Las obras seleccionadas deberán remitir diversos materiales de la forma indicada en el correo de comunicación de selección, en un plazo no mayor a 05 días hábiles tras la recepción. El material a subir se detalla en el siguiente listado:
i) Clip de película formato .mov o .mp4, códec de video H.264 y en resolución mínimo Full HD 1920 x 1080
ii)Material promocional de la obra:
(1) trailer oficial
(2) afiche oficial
(3) fotogramas de la película
(4) fotografías del making off
(5) fotografía del director/a
iii) Ficha técnica
iv) Licencia de exhibición rellenada
v) Archivo de subtítulos en .srt en idioma español o inglés
g) Una vez seleccionada la obra en alguna categoría del festival, no podrá ser retirada de su programación.
h) Los/as autores/as de las obras seleccionadas ceden los derechos de comunicación pública al MUYUNA FEST y otorgan su permiso para su exhibición virtual y presencial durante el marco del festival y en posteriores actividades de difusión (previa comunicación y autorización) que realice la organización.
i) Los/as autores/as de las obras que resulten ganadoras se comprometen a utilizar los laureles del festival en el respectivo material publicitario, exhibiciones o proyecciones futuras.
j) Los casos no previstos en las bases serán resueltos por MUYUNA FEST, en su calidad de ente organizador.

1) ABOUT REGISTRATION
a) The call is open to short films produced by filmmakers from anywhere in the world, with long or emerging careers, who have made a film with a theme related to the world's rainforests.
b) Registration for the 5 international competition categories will be done through the FilmFreeway platforms. The rules can be viewed on our social networks and on our website: https://muyunafest.org/
c) The reception of works begins on November 7 at 00:00 hrs and ends on January 31 at 23:59 hrs (Peruvian time).
d) Registration only for Peruvian films in the 3 competition categories is free of charge and can be made through the following form:
e) The registration fee for international and national public according to the established dates is free of charge.
f) The call is open to filmmakers from any part of the world, with long or emerging careers, who have made a film with a theme related to the world's forests.
g) Each participant is free to submit as many works as he/she deems appropriate, however, if selected, only one (01) work per author will be admitted as part of the official selection in one (01) of the competition categories.
2) ABOUT THE WORKS
a) The duration of the work may not exceed 20 minutes, including credits.
b) Audiovisual pieces are accepted for the documentary, fiction, experimental and animation genres.
c) If the work has not been produced in Spanish, it must include embedded subtitles in the aforementioned language or provide English subtitles in SRT format for translation by the organization.
d) The works must be original, made after January 1, 2022.
3) ABOUT THE CATEGORIES
a) The call for competition for MUYUNA FEST- International Floating Rainforest Film Festival is open for the following sections:
i) International Fiction Short Film.
ii) International Short Documentary (Non-fiction).
iii) International Experimental Short Film.
iv) International Animated Short Film.
b) There will be non-competitive screenings in different locations in the city of Iquitos.
4) ABOUT THE SELECTION
a) The festival's programming team will make a selection of the works received in each category.
b) Subsequently, the panel of three jurors per category, made up of three professionals linked to the audiovisual world, will evaluate the works according to their criteria. The jury's decision is unique and unappealable.
c) The jury may award honorable mentions or technical distinctions, if deemed necessary.
d) The official selection will be communicated on April 20, 2025 directly to the winners of the various categories.
e) On the main screening day, the winners will be announced publicly and through the festival's different broadcasting channels.
f) The selected works must send various materials in the manner indicated in the selection communication mail, within a period not exceeding 05 working days after receipt. The material to be uploaded is detailed in the following list:
i) Movie clip in .mov or .mp4 format, H.264 video codec and in minimum Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution.
ii) Promotional material of the work:
(1) official trailer
(2) official poster
(3) 3 stills from the film
(4) 3 photographs of the making off
(5) 1 photograph of the director
iii) Technical data
iv) Exhibitor's license completed
v) Subtitle file in .srt in English or Spanish language
g) Once the work has been selected in any of the festival's categories, it may not be withdrawn from the festival's program.
h) The authors of the selected works cede the rights of public communication to MUYUNA FEST and grant their permission for their virtual and in-person exhibition during the festival and in subsequent dissemination activities (prior communication and authorization) carried out by the organization.
i) The authors of the winning works agree to use the laurels of the festival in the respective publicity material, exhibitions or future screenings.
j) The cases not foreseen in the rules will be resolved by MUYUNA FEST, as the organizing body.
