Music Video Fest 2026 is a digital festival that showcases how culture can bring the world onchain. Hosted by Nucast on the Cardano blockchain, it's a place where music, community, and verifiable technology converge to create a unique, global event that demonstrates blockchain's potential beyond DeFi.

Here's how it works: creators submit their music video entries, and 20 finalists are selected for official entry into the festival. Attendees purchase tickets, and when the watch period opens, they can stream each finalist's video using the Nucast platform. Voting takes place onchain, with each ticket providing one vote. The music video with the highest number of votes is crowned the winner of the Festival!
Requirements:

Videos must be at least 1080p resolution
Videos must be less than 10 minutes long
Created no earlier than 2020
Must not contain any hateful content
No infringement of others' IP or any other rights

NOTE: Submissions without the original file (mp4, MOV, etc.) will be disqualified.

All prizes are paid in $ADA.

Prize distribution will be as follows for the videos with the most votes:

1st: 5,000 ADA
2nd: 3,500 ADA
3rd: 2,500 ADA
4th: 1,800 ADA
5th: 1,400 ADA
6th: 1,200 ADA
7th: 1,000 ADA
8th: 800 ADA
9th: 500 ADA
10th: 300 ADA

On top of that, there will be a 2,000 ADA prize for a judge's pick!

The responsibility of the legality is solely on the creator, and fully disclosing any possibly used third party materials, licences to such, and other proof of permission to use and is mandatory to qualify for submission.

The competition is announced on the date first mentioned above. The competition will be further promoted through social media. Your participation in the competition may be used freely in such further promotion by Nucast.

The winner(s) will be notified directly and the results shall be announced in social media channels.

By entering the competition you agree to participate in the Music Video Fest 2026 and agree to Nucast's Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Your music video will be shown and streamed on the nucast.io platform to a worldwide audience.
