MUSICOSPLAYER 3 - CARTOON SONGS

The third edition of the contest is entitled MusiCosplayer: Cartoon Songs
It will take place within the event of the International Tour Film Festival 2022 which will take place in Civitavecchia from 5 to 9 October 2022.
All finalist works will be screened in a single day during one of the above dates.
The competition will be accompanied by cultural events and programs.
The MusiCosplayer combines the passion of playing the role of one's favorite characters, that is the ever-growing phenomenon of Cosplay, with that of artistic expression through music, dance, song or simply the interpretation of the character on a musical basis or soundtrack.
Crossplayers and Genderbenders can also participate in the contest.

La terza edizione del concorso si intitola MusiCosplayer: Sigle Cartoon
Si svolgerà nell'ambito della manifestazione dell'International Tour Film Festival 2022 che avrà luogo a Civitavecchia dal 5 al 9 ottobre 2022.
Tutte le opere finaliste verranno proiettate in un'unica giornata durante una delle date sopra indicate.
Il concorso sarà accompagnato da eventi e programmi culturali.
Il MusiCosplayer unisce la passione di vestire i panni dei propri personaggi preferiti, ossia il fenomeno in continua crescita del Cosplay, a quella dell'espressione artistica attraverso la musica, la danza, il canto o semplicemente l'interpretazione del personaggio su una base musicale o colonna sonora.
Al contest possono partecipare anche i Crossplayer e i Genderbender.

Awards & Prizes

The winner will receive a cash prize of € 500 and a participation plaque.
The second and third place will both receive a participation plaque.
All finalists, and at the discretion of the jury also the other competitors, will see their works also screened in other stages of the tour of the International Tour Film Festival which will take place in various cities around the world.

Il vincitore riceverà un premio in denaro di € 500 e una targa di partecipazione.
Il secondo e il terzo classificato riceveranno entrambi una targa di partecipazione.
Tutti i finalisti, e a discrezione della giuria anche gli altri concorrenti, vedranno le proprie opere proiettate anche in altre tappe del tour dell'International Tour Film Festival che si svolgerà in varie città del mondo.

Rules & Terms

REALIZATION OF WORKS
- The contest foresees the realization of videomusical works made by cosplayers, lasting a maximum of 6 minutes.
- The music of the soundtracks of the theme songs can be original or reinterpreted in a cover version.
- The videos must represent the acronyms that have been chosen for participation in the contest.
- The works must necessarily contain subtitles imprinted on the video in the following ways:
a. Subtitles in English, if the language spoken in the video clip is in Italian;
b. Subtitles in Italian, if the language spoken in the video clip is in English;
c. Subtitles in English, if the language spoken in the video clip is different from Italian or English.

PARTICIPANTS
The following can participate in the contest:
- Professional and non-professional cosplayers;
- Actors, preferably with a passion for cartoons and the world of Cosplay;
- Individual authors (directors, screenwriters, etc ...);
- Film and television production houses, theater companies, schools of any order and degree, institutions, associations, etc…;
- Film and television distribution houses, companies of other forms of distribution relating to culture and entertainment.

REALIZZAZIONE DELLE OPERE
- Il contest prevede la realizzazione di opere videomusicali realizzati da cosplayer, della durata massima di 6 minuti.
- Le musiche delle colonne sonore delle sigle possono essere originali o reinterpretate in versione cover.
- I video devono rappresentare le sigle che sono state scelte per la partecipazione al contest.
- Le opere devono obbligatoriamente contenere i sottotitoli impressi sul video nelle seguenti modalità:
a. Sottotitoli in inglese, se la lingua parlata nel videoclip è in italiano;
b. Sottotitoli in italiano, se la lingua parlata nel videoclip è in inglese;
c. Sottotitoli in inglese, se la lingua parlata nel videoclip è diversa dall’italiano o dall’inglese.

PARTECIPANTI
Posso partecipare al contest:
- Cosplayer professionisti e non professionisti;
- Attori, preferibilmente con la passione dei cartoni animati e del mondo dei Cosplay;
- Autori singoli (registi, sceneggiatori, ecc…);
- Case di produzione cinematografica e televisiva, compagnie teatrali, scuole di qualsiasi ordine e grado, istituzioni, associazioni, ecc…;
- Case di distribuzione cinematografica e televisiva, società di altre forme distributive inerente alla cultura e allo spettacolo.
