The Mosaic of Horror Film Festival celebrates the strange, the visceral, and the shadowed corners of the mind.
This one-day hybrid festival (in-person and virtual) showcases short films that transform fear into reflection, exploring mental health, absurdity, and psychological transformation through horror, suspense, and the surreal.
As the darker sibling of Mind Mosaic and Mosaic of Laughter, MOHF completes the emotional spectrum, reminding us that horror and humor are two sides of the same survival instinct. In facing what terrifies us, we uncover what we need to heal.
Festival Family Overview
The Mind Mosaic Festival Family explores the full emotional spectrum through art, film, and storytelling:
Mind Mosaic Arts Festival (MMAF) – the flagship event celebrating creative expression as a path to healing, featuring multidisciplinary works at the intersection of art and mental health each year on World Mental Health Day
Mosaic of Laughter Film Festival (MLFF) – launched on World Laughter Day- May 3, 2026, uplifting comedy and joy as tools of resilience, connection, and mental wellness.
Mosaic of Horror Film Festival (MOHF) – premiering on October 31, 2026, this one-day hybrid festival dives into fear, absurdity, and psychological tension as reflections of the human condition.
Together, these festivals embody The Change Theatre’s mission: to use storytelling as healing, where laughter, reflection, and even fear become mosaics in the art of being whole.
All accepted filmmakers receive a free submission to MMAF 2026, where the conversation between art, psyche, and restoration continues.
