Mori J. Mizrachi is a choreographer, performer, and contemporary dance teacher
based in Paris.
Her work develops at the intersection of contemporary dance, improvisation, and embodied research, with particular attention to somatic practices, behavioral, rhythmic and energetic consciousness.
As a choreographer, she creates works for stage and screen, presented internationally.
Her solo AvoiDance has been shown in Vienna, Paris, and Seoul, notably at Craft Choreography, In and Between Festival, and MODAFE.
Her film Bounds (2022) received Best Microfilm at the Tokyo International Short Film Festival and Best Dance Film at the Ghent International Film Festival.
Her choreographic works also include Unspoken, Tell Me More About Myself, and Ultraviolence.
As a performer, she has toured internationally and collaborated with choreographers, including Sofia Krantz, Pietro Merullo, Gil Kerer and Nadine Bommer,
performing in productions across Europe and Asia.
Alongside her choreographic work, Mori has been teaching for over ten years in professional training programs, repertory, and intensive workshops in Europe, Asia, and the United States. She has taught at Centre de Danse du Marais, Micadanses, and NeoDance in Paris, as well as at Jin Xing Dance Theatre in Shanghai.
Her training included advanced studies at Opus Ballet and Balletto di Toscana (Italy),
The Place (London) and Steps on Broadway (New York).
