Talented filmmakers, writers and composers from around the world submit their work to the annual Moondance competition.

Moondancers are part of an amazing worldwide community; a unique collaboration of multi-talented writers, film score composers and filmmakers. The Moondance mission is to entertain, inform, inspire, encourage and educate.We honor those artists who, through their creative work, actively increase awareness, provide multiple viewpoints, address complex social issues, and strengthen ties between international audiences At Moondance, you can come together with other writers, directors and producers to create new opportunities, develop tools for success and forge new alliances within the international film and entertainment industry.

Being visionary, fearless & bold, Moondance is a unique film festival where monotonous conformity is considered mediocrity, and extravagant individualism, innovation, and experimentation is encouraged, awarded and applauded!

SPECIAL REMINDER: The 2021 Moondance will not have a theatrical venue this season. All winning submissions, in all categories, will be announced on the festival's website.

: This award is for winning filmmakers, writers & music composers, and is a uniquely significant honor, one of the few festival wins that are immediately recognized and greatly respected by national & international entertainment executives.

Moondance film and screenplay winners will receive a free InkTip Script Listing so they can promote themselves and their scripts to InkTip’s entire network of producers, managers, and agents. Screenplay winners will also have their logline featured in InkTip Magazine. InkTip Magazine is sent to over 15,000 producers and representatives.
