An academic turned storyteller, using cinema to ask deeper questions about self, society, and truth. I don’t make films to escape who I am—I make them to understand it

Following a successful academic career, Mohan transitioned into the creative arts by founding Glass Half Full Media, a digital startup dedicated to nuanced storytelling. His work spans multiple mediums, rooted in his semi-autobiographical novel, Trishanku, which explores the complex search for identity within the Indian diaspora.
A versatile creator, Mohan has produced the political documentary Modi’s India: Tracing India’s Global Footprints and established a presence as a thoughtful digital commentator. His latest project, Tat Tvam Asi (That You Are!), is more than a short film; it is a visceral adaptation of a key chapter from Trishanku, designed as a high-caliber "Proof of Concept" for a serialized OTT (streaming) adaptation.
By transforming literature into cinema, Mohan aims to bring the "Trishanku" universe to the global screen, offering a deeply personal yet widely resonant meditation on what it means to be whole.
