Milton Muller is a filmmaker based in the Okanagan, British Columbia. After over two decades working in the visual effects industry, he makes his directorial debut with The Keepers, a personal short film developed and produced with his wife and two children and many others who poured their love for film and community into this!
Milton’s lifelong love of science fiction began before he could even walk—his parents took him to see Star Wars at just three months old, a detail he later discovered in a baby book. That early spark grew into a career spent crafting visual worlds behind the scenes, and now fuels his transition into directing, where storytelling and imagery meet with intention.
With The Keepers, Milton brings his VFX expertise into a more intimate, emotional context, exploring themes of memory, connection, and legacy. His work aims to combine the visual wonder of genre filmmaking with grounded, human stories rooted in family and place.
