Mikael Trench is an Atlanta-based stop motion filmmaker who currently runs TriClops Films, a boutique stop motion and mixed media animation studio. Along with having a hand in stop motion projects for clients such as American Girl, Turner Classic Movies, Hot Wheels, Jurassic World, and more, his short films such as "The Tree That Refused to Fall," "To Love a Ladybug," and "Silent Night" have gone on to be screened at or win awards from such events as the Spotlight Short Film Awards, the Atlanta Horror Film Festival, the Mosaic World Film Festival, the Hollywood South Urban Film Festival, and the New York Animation Awards to name a few.
