All films must fall under a specific category and can be submitted from now until category's due date. Getting your film in early gives our members a chance to screen, vote and review, making sure it stands out as part of this incredible celebration of horror cinema.

1. Submission Deadlines
Submissions will be accepted until the final deadline below for each category. Early entry is encouraged. *NOTE: Each category has a different submission deadline. Entering a film in the wrong category may be grounds for disqualification.

2. Submission Eligibility
- YouTube private video link is included.
- Participation is open to all the filmmakers over 18.
- All submissions must have been completed after January 1, 2023.
- Short film 20 minutes or less.
- If your film is not in English, we require English subtitles.

3. Premiere Status
Midnight Monster Club does not require premiere status, but prefers projects not publicly available online.

4. Screening Video
Midnight Monster Club members will screen, vote and review your film in our private community. Screener must be submitted via YouTube Private Video.

5. Scheduling
No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after its selection. If a film is selected to screen at the live festival, it is the responsibility of the filmmaker to provide the festival with DCP format.

6. Suggested Film Assets
Not required, but we highly recommend including the following when submitting your film:
1) Poster
2) Stills/Set pictures
3) Trailer (limit trailers to 90s)
4) Complete the Filmmaker Biography section in FilmFreeway
5) Add social media handles, so we can tag you promoting your project
6) Current email and mailing address

**Terms & Conditions for Entry – Midnight Monster Club Film Festival**

By submitting a film to the Midnight Monster Club, entrants agree to the following terms:

**1. Copyright and Permissions**
Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring that all necessary rights and permissions have been obtained prior to submission. This includes, but is not limited to, rights for music, stock footage, images, graphics, sound, and any other third-party content used in the film.
By submitting, entrants warrant that their work does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any individual or entity.

**2. Indemnification**
Entrants agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Midnight Monster Club, its staff, members, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the submission or screening of their film. This includes claims made by third parties relating to copyright infringement or unauthorized use of content.

**3. Judges’ Decision**
The selection and decisions made by the judges are final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Entrants agree not to contact festival staff to dispute judging outcomes.

**4. Promotional Use**
By submitting a film, entrants grant Midnight Monster Club the right to use any portion of the submitted screener, along with publicity materials (including images, trailers, and press kits), for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, private skool group, social media, websites, press releases, and festival marketing—without limitation or further compensation.

**5. Legal Release**
By submitting, I/we agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Midnight Monster Club, including its employees, directors, representatives, and affiliates, from all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses—including reasonable attorneys' fees—arising from or in connection with the submitted material.

Submission to Midnight Monster Club constitutes agreement to all of the above terms.
