Micha Kunze is a German filmmaker, spoken word poet and writer based in Cologne. His work moves between poetry, film and performance, often translating spoken word texts into visually driven poetry films.

After touring through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2018 and 2019, he began producing poetry films based on his own poems. His films have since been screened at international film festivals in more than 30 countries and have received multiple awards worldwide.

Alongside his artistic work, Kunze collaborates with major brands and NGOs as a filmmaker and creative. He currently teaches Poetry Production and Poetry Film at the University of Cologne.
