Nothing
"Nothing" is a collaboration between the German post-hardcore band "The Cake Is A Lie" and German poet Micha Kunze. The lyrics tackle the feeling of emptiness, the constant search for meaning while being in a state of torture and despair. The lyrics use elements of Dante's "Divine Comedy" and the paintings by Hieronymus Bosch. The element of purgatory is used to describe the inner state of being of the lyrical first-person.
