For the second year, Melbourne Overlooked Film Festival will be running online. Do you have a short film which you believe is being overlooked by other film festivals? Submit it to MOFF 2022 where we appreciate the weird and wonderful, breaking the mould and showing hidden gems.
This film festival will be airing live 7th and 8th October 2022 (AEST) online on https://www.twitch.tv/melbourneoverlooked.
Confirmation emails will be sent by 3rd October 11:59pm AEST
Films submitted should be no more than 40 minutes in run time and if your film is in a language other than English please provide English subtitles with your submission.
No promotional films will be accepted and any film that promotes hate speech, sexism, homophobia, or racism will be immediately rejected and the submission fee will not be reimbursed.
Fees will be waived for any First Nations filmmakers. If you are a First Nations filmmaker; after submitting your short film to FilmFreeway, send an email with your film details and a method for refunding your submission fee.
We would like to acknowledge that we are working and screening on the unceded Land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
