MIBAFF wants to be a reference a safe space for film creators to share and learn about new film productions from this region. MIBAFF aims to be a place where to share with the world, expressions from different cultures and languages. We are looking for innovative, provocative and out of the box film works by or about Ibero-America.

A selection committee will pre-screen all entries; however, not all entries will be programmed.

The section or program the film is scheduled for is at the discretion of Festival Programmers.

Applicants must classify their film under one of the following categories. The Festival Programmers will then sort the films into the various sections that comprise our festival program. All films must be registered through our FilmFreeway portal even if you are sending in a physical DVD or Blu Ray of your film. Please upload digital exhibition copies to FilmFreeway.
