Māsima: Pacific Islands Film Tour is co-presented by the Utah Pacific Island Film Series, a program under Pacific Island Knowledge 2 Action Resources, and the Salt Lake Film Society. This is a week-long film festival showcasing Pacific Islander Films and Filmmakers.
This is our third year of programming Pacific Islander centered stories to our community here in Salt Lake City. There are no submission fees and all are welcome to submit for consideration regardless of age, experience level, or location.
Each film selected to participate will receive a honorarium depending on film length. There is a $500 honorarium for selected feature films and a $200 honorarium for select short films.
Additional honorariums will be provided for filmmakers interested in participating in pre-recorded panel discussions.
