Malabar is the northern Kerala land of Southern India. We live to love the Feasts (All kinds of Foods & Beverages) and Fests (Cultural, Art, Film & Music Festivals). Our hospitality towards guests and expertise in hosting the festivals are very well known.
The Malabar Music Festival is a music video festival that presents the best music videos of various genres from all over the world, in the most beautiful province in South India with a high interest in tourism and culture, Malabar. We focus on innovative approaches to creating music videos.
The moment the atmospheric and sensual music and the visual side are collective with the use of film elements, an artistically valuable music video can be created. Our goal is to create a place where the whole world culture will connect with the music industry.
Spike Jonze, Gore Verbinski, and many other incredible directors even got their start in music videos. We want to find the succeeding great creator, the next great musician, and the next great music video.

✓ We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.
✓ Any genre films can be submitted.
✓ Music videos may not have English subtitles.
✓ No restriction/limitation on the duration of the final video work.
✓ Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted.
✓ The decision of the festival selection committee will be final.
✓ No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.
✓ Music Videos that are submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third Parties. By submitting to Malabar Music Festival, contestants/submitters agree that they have obtained all required copyright permissions regarding music, sound & images etc. presented in their works.
✓ Videos streamed/released online and/or available on OTT/television platforms also can be submitted.
✓ We may promote clips/posters from your video works on social media, based on the press kits you provide us with.
✓ Malabar Music Festival organizers reserve the rights to change, cancel or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent or information to contestants.
✓ The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
✓ Any technical issues with the submitted works are 100% the responsibility of the entrants. At the time of judging if your video file doesn’t work, it will be automatically rejected, without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP if there are any issues with the submission process, and a solution will be found.
✓ If you have submitted your project in the previous year, you can resubmit the same project to current edition. But will have less precedence.
✓ By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.
✓ We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions.

It doesn't look like a festival took place, at least I couldn't find a trace online, and I had never heard from them after the selection - but 19 days after the festival date I received a mail response with a youtube link for all winners in a video where my film was shown on a certificate as Best Experimental Film. Thanks!
