Welcome to Madness! Our 2023 event will be a full day, in person event hosted in Brooklyn, New York City at The Vino Theater. With it happening in the last week of May, it’s the perfect event to kick off the summer! Submissions will be open until March 20th, 2023.

We wanted to create a festival where we can share crazy, fun, stupid, loving, and maddening stories. There is no limit, rhyme, nor reason for what feelings should be expressed and for what art should be shared. Madness Film Festival is a space where you can share these stories.

While we want to see every kind of film under the sun, we are only accepting short films under 15 minutes (including credits). Films must also have been completed after January 1st 2020.

We are so excited to be able to honor the best of our official selections in the following categories!

So grateful that they showed "More Than a Meal" at the festival and that it won best cinematography! Couldn't attend this year, but I certainly hope to in the future. Communication leading up to the festival was ample and clear.
