Created in 2012, the Mad Monster Party Film Festival is a competition festival which programs brand-new genre feature and short films from around the world. The festival seeks submissions for horror, science fiction, and fantasy.

The 2012 festival hosted the first ever public screening of the "Cabal Cut" of Clive Barker's Nightbreed and we have discovered new and amazing works every year since. More than 300 features and shorts have screened at the festival in its seven-year run.

The festival is a great place for artists to network. Filmmakers will receive passes for their cast and crew to attend the event.

These kind of festivals are very important for low-budget film-makers. It's been an honour to have participated in this festival and we're grateful for having been given the opportunity of screening our film there. Unfortunately we couldn't assist, however the organization team was so profesional during the whole process.

  • Mad Monster Party is an absolute blast! The festival is a combo of Horror convention/fandom with film screenings throughout the weekend. They played my short twice which was amazing! Although the networking is largely fandom and consumers of horror -- you will meet like minded individuals who are passionate for film and working to keep the horror genre alive. Looking forward to next year!

  • An outstanding film festival ran by some fantastic individuals. They go the extra mile to accommodate and include attending filmmakers, and embrace all of the great local talent. Would highly recommend. I was honored to have screened my work here two separate years, and will definitely be submitting again and again.
