Created in 2012, the Mad Monster Party Film Festival is a competition festival which programs brand-new genre feature and short films from around the world. The festival seeks submissions for horror, science fiction, and fantasy.

The 2012 festival hosted the first ever public screening of the "Cabal Cut" of Clive Barker's Nightbreed and we have discovered new and amazing works every year since. More than 300 features and shorts have screened at the festival in its seven-year run.

The festival is a great place for artists to network. Filmmakers will receive passes for their cast and crew to attend the event.

Mad Monster Party Film Fest was a well run festival with great networking. I met and created friendships with other great filmmakers in attendance who I still remain in contact with. Fest Director Jamie M. went above and beyond to make sure all filmmakers felt right at home. Very personable guy. We had a good turn out for our feature film and an equally good Q & A after. I will be submitting my future films to MMPFF from here on out!

Wasn't able to attend in person but there was excellent communication throughout. Also the festival has a strong social media presence and some superb branding. I will definitely be submitting my future projects. Festival looks incredible and I hope one day to attend.

  • I attended Mad Monster Party Film Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and had a great time! The festival played my film and let me do a Q and A with the audience afterwards. Festival was very supportive of my sharing my posts in their social media event page. This is like a horror convention with a couple of thousand people attending and the "film festival" is a sidebar event that goes on DURING the festival; so this was a nice change of pace for me as a filmmaker. Carl Weathers from Rocky I , II and III was there and did a Q and A ; a lot of film celebs were there, including Neve Campbell. Impressive stuff, glad I went!
