Macee WON 3 Cannes Lion Grand Prix advertising awards for her work on the Mastercard True Name campaign, the Microsoft We All Win Super Bowl campaign, & the Ad Council Generation Lockdown campaign. She also worked on the Ad Council Love Has No Labels campaign, which received a 2016 Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial.

Her crowning achievement, the romantic dramedy screenplay, Hand Twins, awed judges as it WON awards for Best Feature Screenplay at the 2022 California Women’s Film Festival, the 2022 First Women Film Festival & the 2022 Venus Community Awards, out of hundreds of entries from around the world. It didn’t stop there – the script placed as a Semi-Finalist at the 2021 Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, the 2021 Scriptation Showcase & the 2022 Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards. It also earned Quarter Finalist Titles at the 2022 Richmond International Film Festival & the 2022 Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition. Hand Twins, secured a Preliminary Finalist spot at the 2022 Creative World Awards and it gained recognition as one of the select few Semi-Finalists in the 2022 ScreenCraft Film Fund Feature Competition with Mark Duplass. Additionally, Hand Twins received Official Selection Nominations at the 2021 Miami Indie Film Awards, the 2021 Toronto Film & Script Awards, the 2022 Andromeda Film Festival, the 2022 LA Indies Film Festival, the 2023 Cannes Film Awards & the 2022 Toronto International Women’s Film Festival. Beyond her success with Hand Twins, Macee is a celebrated playwright whose works have graced theaters across the U.S. In 2014, her first play, Row 28, was published by JAC Publishing & Promotions. Macee's writing extended into short form publications, when two original monologues from her play, Stone Cold Sober, were printed in the Smith & Kraus anthology book series, The Best Women's Stage Monologues of 2017. Available at Barnes & Noble, Target, and most major book retailers worldwide. In 2018, Heuer Publishing acquired Macee's play, Candi With An I, prominently featuring the one-act in their Performing Arts Catalog and Off The Wall Plays published her play, Now Boarding.
Macee’s love of words led to her working as a Content Writer for the news media sites TheRichest, Ranker, & TopBuzz, where several of her articles went viral and amassed over 3 million views online. Her flair for journalism was established when she worked as a Reporter for The Canyon News in L.A. In 2018, Dancing Iguana Productions brought Macee onboard their team as a Writer, Producer, & Co-host of the hit podcast, Left Unsupervised, available on iTunes, Google Play, & Spotify. In 2021, Macee served on the Arkansas Arts Council, supporting non organizations in her home state. Her commitment to nurturing up-and-coming writers led to her serving as a Screenplay Contest Judge at the 2023 & 2024 SYS's Six-Figure Film Festival and in her spare time, Macee co-authors the blog, Thoughts From A Tiny Ass Chair.
