Since 2015, Montanha Pico Festival celebrates mountain culture through arts programming and film festival. ALL INTERNATIONAL WORKS MUST BE MOUNTAIN-THEMED OR SET ON MOUNTAINS.
Annual sections:
- Mountain themed films or stories set on mountain scenery (shorts and features);
- Azorean-productions and films shot in the Azores; this category does not need to follow the mountain theme, but only films produced in the Azores or by Azorean talent;
- SPOTLIGHT 2027: films fro new Bedford (USA), early submission ONLY until June 1st: this category changes theme ever year.
Please note to submit in the proper category, or it will not qualify.
Feature length and shorts are accepted from all film & video genres. All works must be in Portuguese or English language, or embedded subtitles in Portuguese or English.
Fiction, Documentaries, Video-Art, Animation - all welcomed with the mountain theme.
