CINE MIMMOS - International Puppet Film Festival in Sintra

CINE MIMMOS is an International Exhibition of Puppets, Masks and Objects from Sintra – with open-air shows and free admission, for the whole family, in Jardim da Anta – Agualva (Sintra), from 9 to 11 September 2022.

Those who participated in previous editions of MIMMOS were not indifferent to the magic and excitement that filled the streets of Agualva and Mira-Sintra. This year, in order to celebrate the Company's 25th anniversary, the programming of the 3rd edition of MIMMOS will focus only on Jardim da Anta and its headquarters, Casa da Marioneta, with a weekend filled with theater shows from Brazil, Spain, France, Portugal and Venezuela. In addition to the shows to be presented, MIMMOS includes in its program an exhibition with the company's assets, painting and illustrations by Luís Ferreira, a puppet construction workshop by the artist Marta Fernandes, an international short-film exhibition, and also the presentation of the book commemorating the 25th anniversary of the company Valdevinos Teatro de Marionetas.
