Founded in 2010, MEME PAS PEUR is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to programming films that defy convention. Through the screening of contemporary works in various categories that include features and shorts - we bring Saint-Philippe a unique roster of films unshown in Reunion Island.
We actively put the future talent of Fantastic cinema in the spotlight, as well as showing eagerly awaited releases from leading filmmakers of the genre. In addition to finding great films we are committed to introducing you to the people behind the lens, by showcasing local and international indie filmmakers. We are proud to contribute to thriving arts community and are thrilled to bring innovative and challenging selections to all film enthusiasts.
The Festival is also involved in an important educational component by setting up special sessions reserved for school children. For 13 years, more than 13 000 children of the South Wild of Reunion were lucky to live this big Cinema moment. A rare opportunity to educate their view of the world - of the image - otherwise.
