The "Mediterraneo Festival Corto" is an international short film competition that has become one of the most important national and international short film festivals. In previous editions, numerous actors and actresses have been the event's spokespersons. In 2019, as in the edition (XIV, 2024), we also had the pleasure of hosting the three Oscars won by Maestro Carlo Rambaldi (King Kong, ET and Alien). For 5 years, the Festival has been sponsored in the Human Rights section by Amnesty International Italy. In 2016 and 2025, it obtained UNESCO recognition and patronage.

The registration fee for each work is set at € 10.00 (ten). for all sections. For distribution houses that will register more than 10 (ten) short films, it is possible to have a new price by contacting the organization.
The prizes will be awarded as follows:
Best Short Film: 500.00 Euro + Mediterranean Short Festival Award + motivation parchment
Best Human Rights Short Film (Amnesty International Italy): Plaque + motivation parchment
Best Photography: Plaque + motivation parchment
Matchnews Press Award: Matchnews Award + motivation parchment
Best Actor/Actor: Plaque + motivation parchment
Best Soundtrack: Plaque + motivation parchment
Best Documentary: Plaque + motivation parchment
Extraordinary Mention: Plaque + motivation scroll, with delivery at an "ad hoc" screening event in December 2026.
