The Lyons International Film Festival is the gateway to Colorado's film makers. Set in idyllic Lyons Colorado, it's now a must stop on your way to the Rocky Mountain National Park just north of Denver and Boulder. The Lyons International Film Festival showcases many local Colorado independent films and films from abroad in categories ranging from, environmental documentaries, music documentaries, drama, fascinating people and outdoor recreational films. Get a better understanding of how such a task as creating a film from conception, to story boarding, directing talent, directing a cohesive efficient film crew, costume design on a small to budget, editing or to getting distribution and getting it on the big screen is possible. This festival schedule, like the town, will be easy to navigate as all the films are based at Rogers Hall on High street.
