Luigi Bonizzato was born in Rimini, Italy, in 1967, and as a child approached drawing, especially comics: storytelling was congenial to him, to the point that in the 1970s he began using his father's super-8 camera to create short one-step animations with toys. It was in the 1980s that he made his first short shorts with a storyline (in super-8 and then VHS) mainly horror and sci-fi, genres that he would never again abandon because they were creatively stimulating. After completing his studies (Liceo Artistico and Academy of Fine Arts), in the early 1990s he worked as a graphic designer in the field of illustration and advertising, preferring, however, to take the path of teaching art subjects. Collaterally, however, he continued to produce as a complete self-taught (writing, production, directing, photography, soundtrack and special effects) his short films experimenting with various formats that gradually came together, eventually coming to digital in the 2000s.
