The LowDown Film Festival is unlike any other Film Festival in the UK. Based near Cambridge, UK, in the village of Holme, LowDown mixes aspects of typical Film Festivals, with that of Conventions. With filmmakers and Independant Films right at it's heart, we give everyone the ability to network with fellow industry colleagues, as well as actively encourage Filmmakers to attend, or hold, if they wish, panels and workshops for not only their peers, but also those in the general public with an interest in all aspects of the industry. The panels and workshops will be focussing on all aspects of the process; including VFX, Practical Make-Up, Editing, Writing and much more, meaning there is something for everyone. Add in to this activities such as Silent Cinema, Drive-In Movie Theatre, a small amount of Traders, Film & TV Props and a Grand Finale Presentation in our Big Top to name but a few, LowDown will be an event for everyone.
We promise an experience for Filmmakers that will be unparalleled in the UK.
