Our celebration kicks off with the LA Connected Film Festival, a curated showcase of short films, documentaries, and creative reels within the themes of community, resilience, innovation.

From daring startups to change makers, these films will inspire, educate, and ignite conversation among visionaries, investors, creators, and dreamers. Following the film showcase, the celebration continues with networking, and recognition of outstanding entrepreneurial achievements.

This is more than just a film festival, it’s a movement to highlight the creativity and resilience of those building the future.

Free entry to LA Connected event, access to in-person producers, filmmakers, and financiers, and Q&A after each screening. Sponsor will select an outstanding film who will be gifted a custom gift.

All submissions must be within one of the following themes:
True stories of founders and startups, highlighting community, highlighting innovation, social impact

Film must be filmed and completed within the last two (2) years.

Film Length:

Short films: up to 15 minutes

Micro-documentaries / reels: 1–5 minutes

Formats Accepted: MP4 or MOV files (HD or higher resolution)

Submissions must be in English or have English subtitles

Films must be the original work of the submitter and not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or rights of others

You must have all necessary rights and permissions for music, images, and footage used

Submissions should include a short synopsis (max 200 words) and filmmaker bio (max 100 words)

By submitting, you grant the festival the right to screen your film at the event and use excerpts, stills, or promotional materials for marketing purposes related to the festival.

Filmmakers are encouraged (but not required) to attend the event. Selected filmmakers will receive complimentary tickets to the opening night and networking reception.
