Our film festival focuses upon cultures and ethnicities from around the world, including the U.S., for educational, cultural exchange and entertainment purposes. We especially are interested in non-English films with English subtitles for the hearing-impaired and for an American audience. We are a welcoming and inclusive festival.

We will have awards for student entries and professional entries.

Awards & Prizes

Awards: Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Environmental Film, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Student Film.

We plan to offer a $500 prize for Best Student Film.
Our screeners are educated in film, creators of films, and/or passionate about films and filmmaking.

Rules & Terms

If you submit a film, you agree to allow our festival to screen it at a Los Alamos movie theater or impromptu theater location during the festival. We agree to publicize the festival and selected films prior to and immediately following the event utilizing social media.
You retain all copyrights to your work. We ask all who submit a film to make an effort to be available (via zoom) for audience Q&A, if selected. Submission fees are non-refundable.
