Lorna has always held an interest in science fiction. Some of her favorite stories entail vast civilizations on other planets, ordinary citizens with superhuman abilities, plus odd comedy, and the unseen conflicts between good and evil. She continues to pursue advancement in the screenwriting field and is determined to achieve her ultimate goal to become a film producer. Lorna enrolled and completed college-level screenwriting courses, such as Introduction to Screenwriting Development and Advanced Screenwriting in Sacramento, California. She graduated with her Associate's Degree in 2013. She frequently engages in versatile research of foreign and domestic films; particularly, unique dialogue with dramatic intensity, and how to captivate your audience's interest.
Lauren is a Chicago native, but now she considers herself a California girl after migrating to Sacramento in the late ’70s. Television became her secondary world, but she was more intrigued by the films on the Big Screen mainly after watching the 1978 movie Superman with Christopher Reeve. Years later, dozens of films still contribute new and creative ideas to her writing style. Each story has helped to mold her diverse passion for becoming a favorite screenwriter. She loves watching movies! Lauren's detailed memories and past experiences are a personal treasure because of classic films like The King and I, Jaws, Rear Window, The Ten Commandments, The Magnificent Seven, and Spartacus.
This writing duo shares a goal to write original and intriguing feature screenplays. Blockbuster pop-ups may be here for now, but they will eventually take a back seat to the viewer’s genuine quest for fresh entertainment. In recent years, trendy remakes have sparked the interest of modern-day audiences but the viewer's intellect still craves purpose and conveyance on the big screen. This duo team is up to the challenge!
