Selection process:
LISFF is selecting for Annual Screening 2 works in each following categories every 2 months
•Experimental
•Animation
•Narrative Short
•Music Video
•Documentary

Nominees will be notified within 3 months before event.

Also in each additional category LISFF selecting winners that will be post on official website and social media accounts. This type of winners will receive invitation to Annual event, digital certificate and laurel of winner.

About Event:
LISFF Annual Event will take place in London for 6 days in August.
Programme will consist of Q&A with best works, Award Ceremony, Art-Lunches, Photo exhibitions in photo museum.

Rules & Terms

All films must have been made in or after 2019.

Short film entries must be shorter than 40 minutes. Shorter - better.

Entries that are not in English should be subtitled in English.

Works in progress are accepted.

Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker.

Entry fees are non-refundable.

There is no premiere requirement.

The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.

Any Film, selected or not selected, will be a decision of selection panel. The decision of jury members will be final and accepted by all.

To submit a film, you must have created the project yourself, own the rights or have permission from the owner of the content to submit the film to us.

    I submitted my film, was give the status of award winner and that's about it. No communication from the festival, even after emailing them and absolutely nothing back for my money accept a laurel (that is engineered by FilmFreeway). There doesn't seem to be an event or even a digital certificate. A clear cash grab. They didn't even tell me I won my category, FilmFreeway just updated my status to award winner.

    NO RESPONSE through email communication from London Indie shorts Film.
    I received acknowledgement that I won Best Supporting Actress for the short film Flowers in January 2023. I contacted London Indie Short Films SEVERAL times in order to receive a digital certificate, but I did not receive any response. I checked my spam folder for the digital certificate as well. Please forward the digital certificate so I can post the win on my Instagram account.
