Dear Samira,
Thank you very much for your feedback. We truly value hearing from filmmakers like yourself, as it helps us continuously improve our processes and ensure the best experience for everyone involved.
We understand how important it is for all official selection films to have their moment of recognition, and we take great pride in creating a platform where that can happen. While we work hard to avoid errors, but this may happen. However, I can assure you that your film was indeed part of the planned program, as you mentioned, it was showcased at the end of the block. Closing slots are a crucial part of any film festival and are often reserved for films we believe have a special resonance with the audience. In this sense, having In My Skin in that position was not an oversight but rather a decision made with consideration.
Your film was streamed online, as part of our initiative to give all official selection films further visibility, which is not a guaranteed offering. I believe this extended exposure allowed for even more recognition of your work.
Our team strives to respond promptly and professionally, even on the busiest days, such as during the festival itself. I am confident that this issue was addressed as efficiently as possible under the circumstances. On the event day, we usually do not have access to our emails, as we are all in the cinema and working backstage. However, I checked and realised someone could make sure you got a reply to make sure you can watch your film. We hope that being part of the LFFF has helped In My Skin gain the acknowledgement it deserves, and we look forward to seeing your continued success.
Warm regards,
