Lomaland Film Festival is a student showcase of creative work in the Point Loma region that includes documentary and narrative films.
Originally known as the Driftwood Film Festival, Lomaland Film Festival was borne out of the desire to exhibit student films and give the Point Loma community an opportunity to access them. At the event, student filmmakers are awarded prizes and each year a notable filmmaker is invited to the event to comment on the student projects and describe the state of filmmaking today.
