Little Blue Film Festival is a new independent film festival celebrating meaningful storytelling in the heart of central Nebraska. Taking place October 16-17 in Hastings, Nebraska, this inaugural festival brings together filmmakers, artists, and audiences to help breathe new life into the local arts scene.

Presented by the Hastings Community Arts Council, the festival welcomes filmmakers at all stages and emphasizes connection, conversation, and community. Screenings will be held at The Lark Downtown, an historic Hastings venue, creating an intimate setting where stories can spark dialogue long after the credits roll.

Named after the Little Blue River region, the festival reflects the creativity, resilience, and sense of place that define Hastings, Nebraska. We invite filmmakers who value heart, craft, and community to join us at the very beginning.
