    A truly wonderful festival experience.

I attended the Lisbon Underwater Film Festival in February with 'WW2: The Shipwrecks of Truk Lagoon', and I was very impressed by the organisation, the beautiful cinema, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

You could really feel that this festival is made with passion and heart. I saw many great films, met inspiring people and colleagues, and had a fantastic time throughout.

It also meant a lot to me to see that film on the big screen one of the last times.

Many thanks to everyone involved — I really hope to return next year with a new film.

  • We had an awesome time! The festival was very, very well organised and we really enjoyed presenting our film "Voices Of Pura Vida" to a fabulous audience. We also enjoyed networking with other film makers and watching the many other great films screened over 3 days. Thank you! Will & Núria.

Thank you LUFF for creating a beautiful community by the water, about the water. Even in its inaugural year, it was beautiful to see how many familiar faces and ocean storytellers found their way to this festival, making it stronger and more inspiring!

We were honored to show THE REBEL REEF: SEEDS OF HOPE for the first time on an international stage at LUFF and look forward to many more years of ocean inspiration!
