Lisa M. Thomas has been working in film and television since graduating from the Evergreen State College in 1994. Currently Lisa is Producing the stop motion, animated series, Shivering Truth for Vernon Chatman (of South Park fame) and Tyler the Creator’s animated series, The Jellies for Adult Swim. Lisa Produced and Directed The Dust Bowl Faeries music video, Sirens, a song that deals with sexual harassment and misogyny in the music and art worlds. She was the Line Producer on Liz Garcia’s feature, One Percent More Humid which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and was the Production Manager on Lighting Bugs in a Jar which premiered at Cannes. Lisa was the Supervising Producer on the hit animated series, Ugly Americans for Comedy Central and Adult Swim’s cult, animated series, Xavier: Renegade Angel. She Produced MTV’s, Wonder Showzen as well as Zoolander Super Model for Paramount. She is part of the Producing team on the upcoming animated, feature, The Adventures of Drunky starring Sam Rockwell, Steve Coogan and Nina Arianda. Lisa Co-Produced and Directed the documentary, Freeing Silvia Baraldini about the former U.S. political prisoner of the same name and was the Producer on the documentary, Sid Bernstein Presents about the man who brought the Beatles to America. Her roots are in documentary film and when she first moved to New York she worked for Albert Maysles. Additionally Lisa has worked for NBC, PBS, HBO, Turner Broadcasting and Augenblick Studios.
