Lewis Cranston is a Glasgow and London based filmmaker and a graduate of Edinburgh Napier’s Screen Academy Scotland. His final year film 'The Watergaw' premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2024 and was nominated for the Young Scottish Filmmaker Prize at Glasgow Short Film Festival. His directed work has also been screened in various community venues across the UK. He also produced and played the eponymous lead role in ‘Ritchie’, directed by Anton McPhilemy, which won the Scottish Audience Award and received a Special Mention for the Scottish Short Film Award at the Glasgow Short Film Festival in 2026.
